This policy forms part of the CodeElveza marketplace agreement. Mandatory rights under applicable law are not excluded.
Effective date: 2026-07-30 Last reviewed: 2026-07-30
This Buyer Agreement applies whenever you browse, order, pay for, download, install, review or request support for a product on CodeElveza.
1. Account and purchasing authority
- Use accurate account and billing information and keep your credentials secure.
- Confirm that you are authorised to purchase for any employer, client or organisation named in the order.
- Do not purchase a seller’s own product through a related account or use the marketplace to manufacture sales, reviews or transaction history.
2. Evaluating a product
Before purchase, review the full description, screenshots, demo, system requirements, dependencies, compatibility, included files, documentation, support period, update policy and licence type. Ask the seller a pre-sale question where an important requirement is unclear.
3. Licence selection
You are responsible for selecting the licence appropriate to your project, client, users, installations and commercial use. Payment grants only the rights stated in the selected licence and Software Licence Policy. Ownership and copyright remain with the seller or other rights holder.
4. Prices, payment and order acceptance
- The checkout page displays the applicable product price, licence, currency and disclosed charges.
- Orders are fulfilled only after payment has been verified.
- CodeElveza may hold, reject or cancel suspicious, duplicate, unlawful or incorrectly priced transactions and will provide an appropriate reversal where payment was captured but the order is not accepted.
- Keep invoices and purchase codes as proof of licence.
5. Downloads and storage
Download links and purchase codes are personal to the licensed buyer and must not be shared publicly. Reasonable download limits and temporary secure links may apply. Download and safely back up the files, documentation and licence certificate because marketplace access can be interrupted or a product can later be withdrawn.
6. Installation, security and backups
- Review documentation and test software in a safe staging environment before production use.
- Maintain backups of systems and data before installation or updates.
- Use supported software versions and secure hosting, and do not disable security controls merely to force compatibility.
- Report suspected malware or a serious vulnerability privately to legal@codeelveza.com rather than publishing exploit details that may harm others.
7. Updates and support
Updates and product support are provided according to the product page, order and Product Support Policy. Support does not normally include customisation, hosting administration, third-party service fees, unrelated debugging, installation of other products or building a complete project for the buyer.
8. Reviews and feedback
Verified buyers may submit honest, relevant reviews based on genuine experience. Reviews must not contain threats, unlawful material, private information, undisclosed conflicts, extortion or demands for benefits. Sellers may respond and CodeElveza may moderate reviews according to policy.
9. Refunds and disputes
Digital-product refunds are assessed under the Refund Policy and mandatory consumer law. Submit the request within 14 days unless a longer legal period applies, explain the issue accurately and provide reasonable evidence. A refund normally terminates the licence and download rights.
10. Prohibited buyer conduct
- Redistributing, reselling, sublicensing, leaking or publishing source code outside the licence.
- Removing ownership notices where the licence requires them to remain.
- Reverse engineering solely to create a competing or substantially similar marketplace product where prohibited by law or licence.
- Using products for unlawful activity, credential theft, unauthorised surveillance, attacks or infringement.
- Abusing refunds, chargebacks, downloads, support, reviews or seller communications.
11. Seller relationship and marketplace role
The seller is normally the product licensor and primary source of product support. CodeElveza processes the marketplace transaction, maintains order and licence records and facilitates enforcement and disputes. Nothing in this Agreement limits mandatory consumer rights or CodeElveza’s own legal responsibilities.
12. Contact
For order, licence or marketplace assistance, contact legal@codeelveza.com and include the order number without publishing your purchase code.
