This policy forms part of the CodeElveza marketplace agreement. Mandatory rights under applicable law are not excluded.
Effective date: 2026-07-30 Last reviewed: 2026-07-30
CodeElveza respects copyright, trademarks, confidential information and other intellectual-property rights. This policy provides a fair notice-and-review process and does not determine ownership in place of a court or competent authority.
1. Seller obligations
Sellers may list only products and materials they own or are properly authorised to distribute and license. They must comply with open-source, stock-asset, font, library, framework and third-party component licences and retain evidence of those rights.
2. Information required in a complaint
- The complainant’s full name, organisation, email address and authority to act for the rights holder.
- A clear identification of the protected work, mark or material, including registration details or source evidence where available.
- The exact CodeElveza product URL, product title, seller and specific files or elements alleged to infringe.
- A concise explanation of the rights owned and why the listed material is unauthorised.
- A good-faith statement that the disputed use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information is accurate and that the complainant is authorised to submit the notice.
- An electronic or physical signature and any supporting documentation.
3. Submitting a notice
Send a complete notice to copyright@codeelveza.com with the subject “Copyright complaint”. Do not send passwords, payment-card data or unrelated personal data. Knowingly false or materially misleading claims may expose the sender to legal responsibility.
4. Initial platform response
CodeElveza may acknowledge the notice, request missing information, preserve evidence, restrict the disputed listing or downloads, notify the seller and assess whether the complaint is sufficiently specific and credible. Urgent restriction may occur where there is clear infringement, leaked code, security harm or a valid legal order.
5. Seller response or counter-notice
- The seller may provide proof of authorship, licence, permission, independent creation, lawful use or mistaken identification.
- The response should identify the disputed product and explain the basis for restoration, supported by relevant records.
- CodeElveza may share necessary contact and allegation information between the parties where lawful and appropriate.
- A product may remain restricted while the parties seek agreement, obtain legal advice or refer the matter to a competent authority.
6. Outcomes
CodeElveza may restore the product, require modifications or attribution, keep it restricted, permanently remove it, refund affected buyers, suspend related earnings or take action against an account. Marketplace decisions do not prevent either party from pursuing formal legal remedies.
7. Repeat or serious infringement
Accounts associated with repeated substantiated complaints, deliberate piracy, counterfeit products, leaked source code or evasion of restrictions may be suspended or terminated. We consider the nature, evidence, frequency, response and legal outcome of complaints rather than relying only on raw notice counts.
8. Other rights
Trademark, patent, privacy, publicity, confidentiality and trade-secret complaints should identify the legal right, disputed material and requested action with equivalent specificity. CodeElveza may route the matter through the most appropriate process.
