This policy forms part of the CodeElveza marketplace agreement. Mandatory rights under applicable law are not excluded.
Effective date: 2026-07-30 Last reviewed: 2026-07-30
This policy provides the standard licence framework for products sold through CodeElveza. A product page or seller may offer additional terms, but those terms must be clearly disclosed and must not reduce mandatory rights or conflict with the order record.
1. Licence grant
After verified payment, the seller grants the buyer a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the purchased product for the permitted purpose and scope. Copyright and ownership remain with the seller or relevant rights holder.
2. Regular licence
- Normally permits use in one end product, website, application, installation or project for the buyer or one client, as stated on the product page.
- The end product may be commercial, but the software itself must not be redistributed or offered as a competing standalone product.
- A new licence is generally required for each separate end product, client, production installation or materially independent project unless the product page says otherwise.
3. Extended licence
- Provides broader commercial rights only to the extent expressly described at checkout or on the product page.
- It may permit incorporation into an end product made available to multiple paying users or customers, but does not automatically allow resale of the source code, marketplace redistribution or sublicensing as a standalone asset.
- Enterprise, SaaS, multi-tenant, developer-seat or unlimited-project use requires express wording; do not assume it from the label “extended”.
4. General restrictions
- Do not resell, redistribute, publish, leak, share or sublicense the source files or purchase code except as expressly permitted.
- Do not list the product or a substantially identical derivative on another marketplace as your own work.
- Do not use the product in unlawful, infringing, deceptive or prohibited activity.
- Do not remove copyright, attribution or licence notices where the applicable licence requires them to remain.
- Do not provide access to more developers, clients, installations or projects than the purchased licence permits.
5. Modifications and client work
You may modify a product for the licensed end product unless the product page states a lawful restriction. For client work, you may transfer the completed end product to the named client, but you may not transfer the source asset for reuse in unrelated projects unless the licence expressly permits it.
6. Third-party and open-source components
A product may contain components governed by separate licences. Those component licences continue to apply and may require attribution, source availability, notices or other conditions. The seller must disclose material third-party obligations. This marketplace licence does not override an open-source licence.
7. Purchase codes and verification
Purchase codes, licence certificates and verification responses are evidence of an order, not ownership of copyright. Keep them confidential. CodeElveza or the seller may verify them for support, updates, activation and anti-fraud purposes, subject to the Privacy Policy.
8. Updates and versions
Unless the product page promises otherwise, a licence applies to the version purchased and any updates made available to that licence. It does not guarantee perpetual updates, compatibility with future platforms or new products sold separately.
9. Transfer and assignment
A buyer may not transfer the licence except where expressly allowed, as part of a permitted client delivery, or with written approval. A valid transfer must include cessation of the transferor’s use and may require an updated licence record.
10. Termination
The licence may terminate for refund, chargeback, fraud, material breach or confirmed infringement. On termination, stop use and delete copies except where retention is legally required. Terms concerning ownership, restrictions, confidentiality and accrued liability survive.
11. Questions
Licence questions should be raised before purchase through the product page or sent to legal@codeelveza.com.
